Wholeness

We’ve been talking a lot about wholeness within the team. Creating the trust and space or socio-technical design for people to bring the whole self into the work group. The workplace is really only an extension of our environment, so can we really continue to ask people to “check their sh*t at the door”?

As a young adult that’s what I was continuously told in the workplace.

“The boundaries between living and working are disappearing and many people don’t know how to manage themselves, or their teams, in this now seamless environment?”

As a leader, I find being of service to others, and to something larger than myself (be it the team; the company; or some great cosmic entity) allows for true, open expression; a fostering of trust among the team, and a state of being fully present in a real life social network.
